About Permaculture Club Namibia

A growing
community.
A living earth.

We are people with a shared curiosity: how can we care for the land, grow good food and build a more resilient Namibia together?

Who we are

Different places.
Shared roots.

Permaculture Club Namibia brings local experience into view, so the next person has somewhere to start.

This website is published by members of the Permaculture Club WhatsApp group: a diverse community of enthusiasts interested in permaculture and its possibilities in Namibia.

Here, we share information and showcase projects across the country. Each listing offers a window into a place, the people behind it and what they are learning.

You do not need to have all the answers to take part. A question, an experiment or a lesson from your own garden can be the beginning of a useful conversation.

What guides us

Care is where it starts.

01 / EARTH CARE

Work with living systems.

Observe before acting. Protect soil, respect water and make space for the diversity that keeps landscapes alive.

02 / PEOPLE CARE

Grow stronger together.

Make learning welcoming. Value local knowledge, share practical experience and recognise that healthy communities matter as much as healthy gardens.

03 / FAIR SHARE

Pass something on.

Use resources thoughtfully and share what can help others, whether that is an idea, a skill or the lesson from a difficult growing season.

Why Namibia. Why now.

A future worth
getting our hands into.

In a country where water shapes everyday life, regenerative growing starts with understanding the place we live. Dryland permaculture, agroforestry, food forests and urban food gardens offer different ways to explore that relationship.

Our directory makes these local efforts easier to find. It connects inspiration to real places, while the Living Earth Wiki offers a starting point for deeper learning.

Project owners manage their own activities. Please contact them directly about visiting, learning opportunities or ways to help.

Keep your curiosity growing

Local inspiration.
Practical knowledge.

There is room for you here

Start with curiosity.
Bring what you know.

A more abundant Namibia begins with people willing to try, learn and share.

Let’s keep growing.

Questions, ideas or a project to share? We would love to hear from you.
